Today in class I learned how to circuit bend and sodder. I found changing the noises of the toys fun and interesting, although frustrating at times. I also enjoyed watching my classmates poetry videos.

This weeks class I learned how to work in imovie. I think it is interesting that the older version of this program is more user friendly and more popular. In imovie I learned how to manipulate video and sound clips to create a completely new video. I am excited to get started on this project and experiment with imovie.

credit card companies reading

I had no idea that credit card companies followed individuals so closely and personally. I was always under the impression that they treated everyone equally and looked at them as numbers rather than individual people. I think it is a smart idea to use psychology to determine the risk of the card holder, however, its also a little scary. Knowing this information credit card companies can more easily manipulate people depending on their situation and by tracking their history.

When thinking about this article in correspondence to the situationist the first thing that came to mind was the movie/book Fight Club. Specifically the part where they blow up credit and bank buildings to erase there records. This probably isn't really reliant but it was what i first thought of.

The situationists would definitely revolt against the credit card companies. They were anti-capitalism and wanted to empower the working class. They were about play and freedom. I think the credit card companies take away freedom because they control their cardholders and know what they are going to do before they do it.
